Creamy Cheese Crab Dip

AN EXTENDED CRAB APPETIZER FAMILY FAVORITE!

For as long as I’ve lived next door to my dear friend Pat and been lucky enough to spend many Holidays together (her brother married my sister), we’ve had her Mom Jammie’s famous crab dip. Anytime we start to discuss the menu for a Holiday meal, it’s just a given that we will have Jannie’s Creamy Cheese Crab Dip as one of the appetizers! And when we don’t have this crab dip appetizer, it just isn’t the same!

CRAB IS A LUXURY THESE DAYS!

Now crab is pretty expensive these days, but I will tell you this appetizer is worth every penny! And it’s easy to prepare, too! Just a bar of Philadelphia Cream Cheese, minced onion, horseradish and milk blended together with the lump crab, you just pop it in the oven to bake and have your crackers ready!

We typically use Triscuit crackers, but I’ve found a hearty “everything seasoned” flatbread tastes perfect with the dip, too! Look out because your guests will devour it, so make sure you grab a bite before you serve!
